About the Role
Our Vehicle Systems Department is seeking an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems Technician to join our Hunter NSW-based service team. In this role you will service and maintain fire suppression systems installed on heavy machinery, supporting key clients within the mining and quarry sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality service and workmanship in line with company service standards.
- Service, maintain and inspect vehicle fire suppressions systems on-site.
- Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Respond promptly to service calls and client requests.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience working with vehicle fire suppression systems.
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, including AS1851 and AS5062.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong customer service and communications skills.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
- Good personal presentation.
The position requires participation in a rostered schedule and occasional travel to regional areas including overnight stays.
