Wormald have been servicing, designing and installing fire protection systems since 1889 and are a leading provider of fire protection solutions with an excellent reputation and firmly established iconic brand.

Based in Wagga Wagga, we are seeking a Branch Manager to join our team taking our business to the next level.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager – South East Australia and GAAM Emergency Products, this role will be responsible for the delivery of a safe place of work, superior customer performance and sustained profitability and growth.  You will operate at both a strategic and tactical level, driving operational improvements and delivering on service KPI’s to ensure the business achieves financial and other business targets.

Specifically, you will have responsibility for:

  • Continued development of EH&S action plans and implementation thereof driving a relentless culture of zero harm to our employees, contractors and the environment.
  • Achievement of financial targets including margins, operating income and cash generation.
  • Completion of timely and accurate forecasting.
  • Ensuring customer targets and contractual commitments are achieved or bettered.
  • Drive workforce productivity ensuring the effective use of team members.
  • Development and implementation of strategies to ensure the existing customer base is secured and new opportunities are maximised.
  • Maintain an effective working knowledge of industry activity and Fire related legislative/code compliance.
  • Develop effective customer relationships throughout various levels of the customer’s organisation ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Effective management of customer complaints/concerns.
  • Review and refine methods of operation including the use of technology.
  • Continue to develop a productive, motivated team with the establishment of clear objectives, managing staff matters promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the necessary skill sets are in place to deliver business objectives.

You will have had previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry or an allied electrical building services background, together with a high degree of business acumen, drive for results and a passion for exemplary customer service.  In return an attractive remuneration package & career development will be offered
