About the Role
As a Service Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day service operations for our key clients. This is a hands-on supervisory role, where you will be actively involved in field activities, supporting technicians on-site, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
You will balance your time between the field and office, coordinating jobs, supporting your team, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the front by supporting technicians on-site and in the field
- Supervise daily service and maintenance activities
- Coordinate and schedule technicians to meet service requirements and deadlines
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing training for the team
- Maintain clear communication with clients and provide updates on service delivery
- Assist with administrative tasks including reporting, job tracking, and debtor follow-up
What we are looking for
- Experience in a building services supervisory role
- Background in the fire protection industry or a relevant trade (desired)
- Proven ability to lead and support field-based teams
- Practical problem-solver who is comfortable working on-site
- Good organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple jobs
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
