The Position

An exciting and challenging role exists for a highly driven, success-motivated individual who can drive and lead our Queensland Projects and Minor Works Department. This includes engineering, estimating, design, drafting, project management, and delivery resources.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the necessary strategies to ensure the Department achieves or exceeds financial, business and people objectives. Managing and developing staff and providing a safe place of work is paramount, as is your ability to foster client relationships to maximise returns.

To be successful, you will have experience as a manager within the fire protection or other building services industries. Sound commercial acumen and judgment is essential, as is your ability to think strategically with a broad perspective and future orientation.

The ideal candidate will understand all things related to fire design and installation (wet, dry, passive, special hazards), have sound financial skills, understand people and what motivates them, understand and be able to manage customer priorities, be a team player, and have a positive attitude to problem solving.
