Fire Technician – Vehicle Suppression

A great opportunity current exists for a hard-working, enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Rockhampton based team as a Fire Suppression Technician – Vehicle Systems. In this exciting role you will be performing installation and routine maintenance and repairs to fire suppression systems fitted to mobile heavy machinery on various mine sites throughout the region.

Successful applicants will have:-

• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards including AS5062 and AS1851
• Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and dedication to working in a team
• High standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement
• Ability to work without direct and constant supervision, together with exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service related documentation
• Current Driver’s Licence and must pass a pre-employment medical along with regular drug and alcohol testing
