Our Adelaide based training department provides specialist support to our clients, to meet their Work Health and Safety legislative requirements, by providing site-specific training in emergency response procedures (chief warden and warden sessions), first attack firefighting, spill response and healthcare specific sessions (emergency officer and emergency coordinator). The department also develops site specific emergency response procedures across a variety of industries.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Facilitating external client and internal staff training.
- Designing and producing Emergency Response Procedures for clients, including emergency response procedures manuals and evacuation diagrams.
- Provide technical assistance and consultation with regards to the AS3745-2010, AS4083-2010
- The production and maintenance of training records and reports.
- Fire Safety Advice
The successful applicant must hold a current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, a current driver’s license and have strong computer literacy in MS Word and PowerPoint and Outlook.
Current Experience in the fire industry, emergency services and/or WH&S will be advantageous.
This position will require the successful applicant to be available occasionally to perform training on evenings and weekends in line with our customer requirements. In addition, this position will involve occasional interstate travel.
