The Role
Based in Kidman Park, Adelaide, we are seeking an individual with CAD experience to join our team working on a variety of fire protection systems. You will use your CAD knowledge and desire to learn, to expand your abilities as a Fire System CAD Drafter.
You will be involved in producing detailed design drawings across Mechanical, Electrical and Gas suppression fire protection and producing Evacuation Diagrams and Block Plans. You will also be involved in producing Bill of Materials tables, material and equipment procurement, preparing and finalising commissioning documents and producing Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
You will work closely with our team including Project Managers, Engineers, and Estimators at the various stages of fire system projects.
Key experience & skills needed for this role would include:
- Experience with AutoCAD essential with completion of an accredited CAD course.
- Experience in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- 3D Model experience beneficial.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Skills to produce work with a high level of accuracy and detail.
- Ability to maintain focus on complex and multiple activities.
- Strong interest in drafting and technical designs, electrical and mechanical.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
